The college library has undergone significant improvements following renovation work. Eighteen iron cupboards have been repaired, repainted, and systematically filled with rearranged books. The wooden cupboards are scheduled for polishing in the coming days.
New Facilities:
- Faculty Study Corner: Equipped with new study tables, computer workstations, and laptop-friendly spaces exclusively for teaching staff
- Women's Facilities: Separate hall for female professors and a common room with attached bathroom for female students
- Furniture Upgrade: New chairs to be purchased soon to enhance reading comfort
Senior Librarian Shahid Hussain Bhutto is currently overseeing the complete reorganisation of the library's collection to improve accessibility and user experience.

Mr Saeed Ahmed Soomro and Mr Masood Ahmed Veesar from Government Arts and Commerce College Larkana have been selected for promotion to Associate Professors in Grade 19. The college community celebrated this significant career achievement with a special ceremony.
College Principal Prof. Rizwan Gul, along with faculty members, congratulated the promoted lecturers and honoured them with traditional garlands. The event marked an important milestone in the professional development of both faculty members and recognised their contributions to the institution.

A meeting of the BS English Programme at Government Arts and Commerce College Larkana was held under the chairmanship of the Principal, Prof. Rizwan Gul. The meeting discussed in detail the first semester examinations scheduled from 26 May to 31 May 2025. Various departmental matters were reviewed and decisions were made. Advanced planning for the second semester was also conducted.
It was noted during the meeting that not a single class was missed during the first semester, with students maintaining a 90% attendance rate.
